Stamp Storage Many scrapbookers are veteran stampers, but many of us are new to stamping and need a little help with the basics. On a recent trip to the Ventura STAMP Convention, I found a great way to store unmounted stamps. Many stampers like to buy unmounted stamps because they are cheaper than a stamp that is mounted on wood and because they take less storage room. Now that I have discovered this storage system, I wish that ALL of my stamps were unmounted stamps. Supplies needed: Unmounted stamps Simply take your unmounted rubber stamp and trim it close to the design. Be careful to trim it closely, but not to undercut the stamping surface. After all of the rubber is trimmed, lay it face down on a table. Use ZIG 2-Way Glue (large chisel tip is GREAT for this) and cover the back of the stamp with the glue. Let dry for several hours. After the stamps are dry sort them into themes. Trim cardstock to fit into the sticker organizers large (undivided) pages. Stamp the image onto your (trimmed) cardstock and insert cardstock into the sticker organizer. Stick the rubber onto the image that you stamped. This way after you use a stamp, you will know where to put it away. This picture shows the back of the sticker case, which holds the ZIG 2-Way Glue, my acrylic mounts and any unmounted dies that haven't yet been covered with adhesive. The front of the sticker holder shows a sheet of unmounted dies. In the foreground you can see an acrylic mount and the die that belongs at the top of the storage page. Using this method, hundreds of stamps can be stored in the Cropper Hopper Sticker Case.
