To make the page as shown above take a piece of cardstock and trim it 1/2 on all sides, this will make it a mat on your white if you use scrapbook pages and if you use top loading you will need to use while cardstock behind the colored paper. After trimming the cardstock use Thermo-O- Web Mounting Tape or 3L Photo Tape or Creative Memories Photo Tape (also made by 3L) and place the tape about 1/2 inch from the edge of the paper on all four sides. (This will be the back.) Start off using the spiral punch and then use the Mc Gill micro punch and Mc Gill star punches to "fill in" between the spiral designs.

Inspiration for this page technique came from a card made by Julia Quinsey that was published in the March 1999 Vamp Stamp Gazette.  Vamp Stamp Gazette is a monthly publication for stamping techniques. If you'd like information on ordering Vamp Stamp Gazette please contact Nancy Waterman (fax 410-760-1495) for current pricing on subscriptions and back issues. I highly recommend the Vamp Stamp News as a great resource for scrapbookers who are interested in learning new techniques.
