Panoramic Pages

I have shown this technique in a Flex-hinge album by Creative Memories. This same technique can easily be duplicated in a Webway album or a Westrim Album as well as post-bound albums with scrapbook pages. (For those using a 8 1/2 by 11 page in a 3 ring binder I highly recommend purchasing Frances Meyers Panoramic Page Protectors.) When finished you will have 8 scrapbook pages featuring a four page spread in the center (see the last photo).

Supplies needed:
Creative Memories or Westrim Scrapbook Pages
Creative Memories or 3L Photo Tape
two 12x12 pieces of White cardstock
Fiskar's Rotary Trimmer with the perforating blade

Step one is to cut a 12 x 12 piece of white cardstock to 12" by 11 3/4". Line up the paper along your page and you will see the that heights match when the paper is 12" vertically and 11 3/4" horizontally. (Westrim pages may vary, please measure before cutting if you are using a Westrim album or a Post Bound album.) Make a small pencil mark on the side of the paper will be covering the jeeping on the scrapbook page.
Place the perforating blade on the Fiskars Rotary Trimmer and make a perforation 3/8 of an inch from the edge on the edge of the paper that you just marked with a pencil .  step1.jpg (22618 bytes)
Place Photo Tape (or tape runner) along the 3/8" perforated edge that you just created. The remove the backing fromt he Photo Tape and place the Photo Tape on the jeeping at the outer edge of your scrapbook page. step2.jpg (24871 bytes)
The cardstock page should then open like a book step3.jpg (20848 bytes)
